After Harvey: Caring for the Survivors
Harvey left our city late August, but the effects of Harvey live on. Houston was hit hard, and thousands are trying to adapt to a new normal. Those of us not affected by the storm’s wrath want to help. Shelters are still in place and clean up has become a daily routine. Many Houstonians took survivors of the storm into their home, and many are considering opening their home to welcome survivors in. For the most part we want to help, a gesture that is generous and heartwarming

Personal Fulfillment in Helping Others
Houston has been in a state of gloom for days. People have been forced out of their homes, experiencing the farthest thing from a breath of fresh air. Many people feel overwhelmed. Others might have survivor’s guilt. All are wondering what they can do to rid themselves of these feelings. There is a sense of purpose that comes with the storm’s end. Fulfill your duty to your community by doing what you can for others. It is all about forming a positive chain reaction. Donate cl
