Worriers know all too well how worry affects their heart, mood and attitude. It does nothing to make the situation more bearable or easier. Distract yourself when you know you have something stressful coming up. Tell your friends so they’ll help support you, and stock up on healthy foods so you don’t stress eat. Schedule in exercise too. The more you work on staying healthy for the stressful situation, the less time you’ll have to worry.
