Good Sunday Morning, Friends! My Soul Intention: it’s when you’re at your most vulnerable, remorseful, and humble state that your soul is most visible. The toughest part about teaching empathy and compassion is peeling away the ego. That ego is quite a character. It lives in denial, arrogance, sarcasm, pride and it lives in you, me, and every human being in the world. You can’t get rid of your ego, but you can subdue it by admitting and not defending your dark parts, and holding yourself accountable instead of blaming others. It’s not enough to admit your faults, though you must learn to forgive them, and remember them before you point a finger or pull a trigger on someone else. We all make mistakes and we share sins in common. None of us would last a day without grace, although your ego may blind you from that truth.
