When you feel rushed and as though there is a limited amount available, you experience increased anxiety and stress. The fear of losing what you have or not getting enough begins a downward spiral of fear and envy. Taking the time to find something to be grateful for will minimize your anxiety. It will slow you down, distract you from your racing, negative thoughts and interject a feeling of peace. You can’t be afraid of life’s limits when you take time to note all of the gifts you’re given every moment of every day. Life is full of everything…beauty, sadness, fear and joy. Taking time to appreciate the good things will help minimize your anxiety and help you feel more at peace.
