Good Tuesday Morning, Friends! My Soul Intention: Since when did common sense become so uncommon? I grew up with two hard working middle class parents who raised a family of nine kids and worked hard to take care of them. They had common sense and didn’t rely on the government or anyone else to take care of the family they created. No one is responsible for you except you. Use your common sense. If you spend more than you have, you’ll run out of money. If you don’t work hard, you’ll lose your job and it’s no one’s job but yours to get you a new job. If you create a family, take care of them. The government is not responsible for what you create; you are. When you learn to take responsibility for your life, you end up using more common sense and less learned helplessness. You’re not helpless. You’re enabled, and that’s hurting you more than it’s helping.
