Good Wednesday Morning, Friends! My Soul Intention: Controlling people may look together on the outside, but they’re frustrated and anxious inside. When you meet a controlling person, know that the power they exude on the outside is a facade for insecurity and anxiety on the inside. When you feel as though you have to control everything you become more frustrated, anxious, depressed and angry. No one can ever fulfill your expectations, and you stop appreciating the life you’re missing due to your need to control. Yelling, micromanaging, hovering, or spying may make you feel as though you’re in control, but you’re not. The universe is unpredictable, and so is life. The key to pleasure, happiness and moments of joy is to allow them to happen without you planning them. Anyone who says, “The place will fall apart if I don’t control it,” needs to be reminded that if the place is going to fall apart, it will with or without your control. For your health, happiness and relationships, learn to manage yourself and let go of trying to control others.
