Good Tuesday Morning, Friends! My Soul Intention: worrying is like pounding your head against the wall and then imagining your pain is due to a brain tumor. The best worriers in life are also the most creative people. They can imagine every terrible scenario and then worry about it happening. 98% of what you worry about will never happen and the 2% that does happen were things you never imagined or worried about. Since worrying isn’t visible (usually) no one knows your brain is consumed with worried thoughts, making you feel more alone and crazy. You can reduce worry with distraction. Recite a prayer, a poem, a quote or sing. Yes, you may sing or pray during odd times, but those behaviors won’t leave you feeling depressed or anxious and your brain won’t be cluttered with thoughts that scare you.
