Good Sunday Morning, Friends! My Soul Intention: the backbone of your family is the leader. When you think of strength and leadership you may think of the person at the top, at the pulpit or at the microphone. They may come to work later, dress the part, and make themselves a bit more exclusive, and this adds to their sense of specialness. In your family you may identify the loudest one as the leader. Sometimes bossiness assumes a position of leadership. But the most effective leaders are the ones who may be working behind the scenes, a bit more modest and teaching by example. The most incredible leaders I’ve ever worked for or with had a quiet confidence and were able to mentor with their own behavior what they expected from others. They weren’t mean, they didn’t crack the whip, but they were firm and they encouraged. If you want to find the true leaders in your family, community or job, seek to find the backbone of the family, community and job and there will be your leader. A leader’s influence is powerful because they live their talk and that is a very difficult thing to do.
