Good Friday Morning, Friends! My Soul Intention: no matter what your loss, take time to grieve and give yourself permission to respect that time. We don’t do well with grief. In society there’s an attitude to take a couple of days off and move on, but anyone who has suffered a loss knows that’s impossible. It doesn’t matter if it’s a divorce, a miscarriage, a called off engagement, illness or death…you must take time to mourn. When the heart attaches, it sends messages to every body part that this person is special. There is no one else or nothing else that can fill the void that person or relationship left. It’s sacred, and you respect its sacredness by allowing yourself time to feel confused, despair, overwhelmed and sad. Don’t let anyone tell you to get over it before you’re ready. Grief is a universal feeling; honor it by moving through it at your own pace.
