Good Thursday Morning, Friends! My Soul Intention: When you break a promise your spoken “I’m sorry” loses meaning. When someone loves you or respects you they believe your words. If you say, “I’ll be there,” and you don’t show up, they learn that you are not trustworthy. Saying, “I’m sorry,” or complaining about the traffic, your boss, or the kids gives you an excuse but it does little for the one who trusted you. It basically tells them how much you value what you say you’ll do. Don’t make promises you can’t keep and if you make a promise, put it at the top of your list and follow through. It is a BIG deal and it says EVERYTHING about the value of your word. If you don’t value what you promise, why should anyone else?
