Good Friday Morning, Friends! My Soul Intention: you don’t have to be the best, you just have to be 1% better than you were yesterday. No matter what area of life you want to improve, you usually shoot too high, and when you cannot accomplish the goal you set for yourself, you feel discouraged. Improvement comes with taking small steps every day and praising yourself for taking the small step you did. Small steps when taken consistently help people go through rehab, restore their marriage, pay their final car payment, and pay off the final loan on their house. The only person you can truly improve is yourself, so rather than comparing yourself to someone else and getting discouraged, compare yourself to who you were yesterday and be grateful for your improvement today. Each day, make it a habit to achieve your personal best. In time, you’ll get what you’re committed to working toward.
