Good Tuesday Morning, Friends! My soul intention: the past doesn’t live here anymore. Reminiscing about the past is a “rite of passage” we go through. The death of a loved one, or the loss of a heartfelt relationship can leave us feeling sad about what we could’ve, should’ve, would’ve said or done. Your past is part of your story, and you did what you could with what you knew at the time. The lessons you learned helped you become the person you are today, but you cannot live in the past. Taking residence in the past makes you bitter and self-absorbed; unable to experience the joy around you. Appreciate the lessons the past taught you, but embrace the present and future for the lessons of yesterday are built with each tomorrow.
