Good Wednesday Morning, Friends! My Soul Intention: the things you say to your child becomes their inner voice. When you are stressed, unhappy or angry it’s important how you talk to your kids. Yelling at them, calling them names or telling them to act like a big boy or girl becomes their inner voice. Your insults become their self-esteem, and screaming at them when you’ve lost control of you becomes their drug, alcohol, or food addiction. Their depression in adult life is many times your held in anger, experienced by them while they were growing up. Children are mirrors. They reflect our loving gestures as well as our non-loving ones. No one is perfect, but being aware of those big eyes and ears taking in everything we say and do, can encourage you to use more gentle words, heart felt smiles, and big soft hugs. Our biggest hope for creating a loving society is loving our children.
