Good Wednesday Morning, Friends! My Soul Intention: You don’t need to advertise what you have if you’re confident in you. It seems as though people are confused with what confidence means. The perfect wardrobe, handbag, followers or friends on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. It’s as if you build your self-worth by others’ “likes.” You know you’re in trouble when one person’s finger on a button of approval is making or breaking your day. True confidence is often times quiet. The confident person is not afraid of making a mistake or being wrong. They know who they are, where they came from, and they’re not comparing what you have to themselves. Being confident means you embrace your humanity and are comfortable in your own skin. As a general rule, the more you have to advertise yourself, the less likely it is that you believe in you. When you believe in you, others feel your strong, unshakable presence. Being around a confident person helps you feel safer and more “real” too.
